Valuation charges are not based on the value of your item and there is no charge for an initial assessment to identify which of your items require a valuation. The fee will apply only if the session becomes a consultation and no valuation is required.
Once the items have been viewed and the scope of work is determined, a clear quote and time frame will be provided. It’s usually a fixed fee per item so that you know upfront how much the valuation fee will be.
All your requirements will be discussed at the initial consultation.

Turnaround time depends on the cue ahead, quantity and complexity of items and will be all finalised at the initial consultation.
TECHNICAL REPORTS AND COMPLEX ITEMS
Technical reports and complex items are charged at a higher rate due to the extensive work or additional research required. These items will be quoted individually after inspection.

A full trade service is offered for retail and associated jewellery trade.

INITIAL CONSULTATION
We offer a complimentary 10 minutes consultation to help you determine which items may require a formal valuation. If no valuation is required then a consultation fee may apply.
